About Your Trainer

 
Hi, my name is Chriss Tinslay and I can't wait to get to know you and help you achieve your health and fitness goals. I am here to make sure that you enjoy the journey as much as the destination, so my promise to you is that I will do everything I can to help you reach your goals as quickly and easily as possible.

I have included a few points of interest about myself, so we can get to know each other a little better.

I have been a fitness instructor and personal trainer since 1995 and have helped 1000's of people achieve their health and fitness goals in that time. I am qualified and registerd as a "Master Trainer" with Fitness Australia. This means I am specialised in the following areas:

*    Personal Training
*    Group Personal Training
*    Strength Training
*    Nutrition and Fatloss
*    Special populations  
*    Injury prevention
*    Aerobics   

   

 

I am a mentor with the "Australian Institute of Personal Trainers" and mentor others to become qualified personal trainers.

I am also a mother and a "normal person". What I mean is that I am not some super human athlete who has never had a fat day in my life.
Sometimes I eat too much chocolate, sometimes I eat McDonalds (and I don't mean a McSalad) and sometimes I enjoy a few "quiet" drinks with my friends.
So sometimes I need to get rid of a few unwanted kilos just like the rest of the population.
I would never recommend anything that hadn't first been tested and worked on myself. 

Things I love

My family and friends,    photography,    food,    painting,    keeping fit and healthy and helping others do the same,     I love that feeling at the end of a great class,    the sky especially a full moon,    holding hands with my daughter,   chocolate covered strawberries,    reading,    learning new things,    watching old 80's music video's especially Prince,    getting all dressed up,    having a clean house (although I dont love doing the actual cleaning),   laughing with my best girl friends,    Kath n Kim (laugh out loud every time),   flowers   and waking up and having NOTHING planned for that day.

Things I hate

Waiting in line, whinging, seeing people waste time with ineffective exercises.
